Yes, players shall be homeschooled students, with the majority of their education managed by their parents or guardians. This definition does not preclude parents from paying for private educational services as a minor supplement to their child’s education. Additionally, this model supports the participation in an athletic program, such as homeschool soccer, which can provide valuable experience for youth soccer teams.

No, but we do conclude our practices in our athletic program with Christian devotion and prayer, and we regularly pray before games. All players in our homeschool soccer and youth soccer teams are required to be present and respectful during this time, regardless of their participation. Additionally, all players and parents must agree to our code of conduct prior to playing for the Jags.

The River City Jags compete against various teams, including private schools, Christian schools, club teams, public schools, and other youth soccer teams that are part of the homeschool soccer community. Our athletic program primarily focuses on matches against Indiana Homeschool Soccer League programs throughout the season.

In cases of hardship, our board will review requests and potentially offer a reduced fee for participants in our athletic program, including those in our homeschool soccer league. For instances of extreme hardship, we may be able to waive fees. If your family needs financial assistance, please reach out to us, or speak with a board member or coach. Additionally, there are typically carpool options available to meets & practice to help minimize travel expenses.
